Submission / Abstract Submission

April 17th, 2023 to July 24th, 2023

Abstracts might be written in Spanish or English in an anonymous document. Two types of submissions are possible: Ordinary sessions and Refereed sessions.

ORDINARY SESSIONS

The abstract for Ordinary session must have between 200 and 400 words. After a review process, the decision notification is sent from July 18 to August 1, 2023. In this type of session, feedback from the audience in general can be received.

Ordinary Session Format

REFERRED SESSIONS

The abstract for the refereed session must have between 1,200 and 2,000 words. After a review process, the decision notification is sent from July 18 to August 1, 2023. In this type of session, a reviewer is assigned to give feedback on the paper presented.

Refereed Session Format

ACCEPTANCE OF THE RESEARCH WORK

The acceptance of the paper will be notified until August 1, 2023; and the registration of the participants will take place until August 30, 2023.

CRITERIA EVALUATION

The evaluation criteria for both types of sessions are:

  • Writing (10 points)
  • Relevance of the Topic (20 points)
  • Literature review (20 points)
  • Data and proposed methodology (20 points)
  • Expected results (20 points)
  • Structure, organization and format (10 points)

Papers with more than 70 points are accepted.

Researcher-Epainos Award

Categories:

Investigador Senior: pueden concursar postulantes que estén cursando o haber terminando una maestría o un doctorado.

Investigador Junior: pueden concursar postulantes que estén cursando o terminado el pregrado.

Los concursantes que postulen deben enviar un resumen extendido de acuerdo con el formato de la sesión arbitrada y en la sumisión señalar sesión arbitrada e indicar que participa en el Concurso Investigador- Epainos señalando la categoría respectiva.

Por otra parte, las memorias del evento serán publicadas en la Revista Cuestiones Económicas del Banco Central del Ecuador.
